People always want to thank the spouse of a soldier but I don't need thanks. This day is for my dad, my husband, and the many other people who are in the military, I'm just the silent ranks who chose to stay in this lifestyle because I really don't know any other way. I love this song and it gets to me each time I hear it (my hubby too...shhh!)




So don't say thanks to us spouses, just hug us and buy us alcohol for putting up with our men and tolerating the fact that the military comes first. We understand that...well, at least some of us!
