Weight Watchers and my love of food
Sunday, February 17, 2008 @ 3:18 AM

weightSo I had lost a lb since I have been on WW for 2 weeks. Its my own darn fault, I love food, I enjoy it, heck I enjoy it so much I want to go to culinary school just so I can learn to love it even more! I decided to join weight watchers because: a~I had failed at pretty much every diet and b~everyone that has been on it lost a ton of weight. So I thought, well, if they can do it so can I right?

Well, for me I need more of a push, I need like a big shove. But I have been better and been shopping better. I try to stick to my list although its difficult when you have a junk food junkie of a husband who thinks he needs the big bag of peanut butter M&M's. I swear if I even THINK about knowing there is a bag of those hidden in my kitchen I will look high and low for them. Ugh, I have no willpower for junk food.

I have found a terrific website from my favorite cooking celeb Rachael Ray its called Hungry Girl and its fabulous! The woman behind the website is not a nutritionist but she gives you advice on things to eat and what you should (and shouldn't!) eat. There are also weight watchers points on the foods she recommends which helps out alot! I subscribed to the website so I get stuff in my inbox every so often.

So I'm trying and I will succeed, I just need the willpower (and the fact that I have a 10 year class reunion in October that I am WANTING to go to!)
